Robin is a true master storyteller. This book really pulls the whole epic together and it’s totally compelling. Few epic fantasy books are comparable to Robin’s genius.

It’s very similar to the Name of the Rose. But the narrative is even more interesting. And the narrator is just like Sean Connery. Amazing voice. Just brilliant.

Historia
The Bhagavad Gita is a gem so precious in India's spiritual treasury that many regard it not as a volume of sacred verse, but as a living manifestation of the Divine. In the summer of 1974, inside a balmy Boulder, Colorado, warehouse that served as a main hall of a fledgling Naropa Institute, some say a minor miracle occured: The reawakening of the Gita's living presence, as it unfolded in a series of wisdom teachings led by Ram Dass.

This audio book is another masterpiece of inspiration, guidance, coaching and love.

Now you can find out-in a series of 24 vibrant lectures from a leader of the NASA-supported team studying the origins of life in the universe and also one of the nation's foremost science educators.

Really good course. Bit hard for amateurs.
Revisado: 02-11-19
I loved it. Biogenesis is really my thing. However I felt that this course was at times a little hard to process given I have an engineering background instead of biology.
At the end of the course we are given a few tantalizing speculations, but other than the that it’s all pretty solid conservative science. I would have liked to further stretch my imagination and hopes on the subject of the origin of life.
Kudos to the author for tackling a hell of a topic with courage and skill.

Life is the most extraordinary phenomenon in the known universe; but how did it come to be? Even in an age of cloning and artificial biology, the remarkable truth remains: Nobody has ever made anything living entirely out of dead material. Life remains the only way to make life. Are we still missing a vital ingredient in its creation?

Historia
Ancient Egyptian civilization is so grand our minds sometimes have difficulty adjusting to it. It lasted 3,000 years, longer than any other on the planet. Its Great Pyramid of Cheops was the tallest building in the world until well into the 19th century and remains the only Ancient Wonder still standing. And it was the most technologically advanced of the ancient civilizations, with the medical knowledge that made Egyptian physicians the most famous in the world.
