I would never have imagined what life was like for viola Davis before reading this book. I admire your tenacity, her strength of character, perseverance, her never give up attitude, and ultimately the love that she learn to have for herself. A very eye-opening read. Highly recommend.

There is just way too much to say about this book series that I don’t know where to begin. I know that God was speaking through this story like He did when Jesus told parables. Lessons of love, forgiveness, the powerful bond between mother and daughter, compassion, faith, purpose, women’s empowerment,strength of family, generational curses, hurts, pains, suffering, misunderstanding, anger and resentment. And how God uses ALL things for the good of those who love Him… A long story but worth listening to.

Just as I am is a remarkable story of a remarkable woman. I am in awe of the life that Ms Tyson lived and in awe of all the lives that she has touched. Her life story is a testimony of what it means to be a child of God. I would read his book over and over again. There are so many nuggets of wisdom spread throughout her words that there is no way you can get them all in one read. I highly recommend this book. Even if you don’t have any expectations you will be blown away.

Mind-blowing

I really enjoyed reading A Song for You. I didn't know what to expect and was consistently surprised by Robyn's story. I have a different perspective on the life of Whitney and my heart goes out to her even more. Now, my heart also hurts for Robyn. Her story is a love story and one of loss. Robyn jumped around a bit and sometimes it felt fragmented, but overall, I enjoyed it.
