This series just didn’t do it for me…

The books lacked something… I don’t know what specifically but it just felt so repetitive. The sex scenes were hard to listen to… the characters lacked something overall. It took me WELL over a week to finish this box set because the storylines were lacking and boring. If you like mediocrity then this book may be enjoyable for you - but if you’re like me in any way just skip this series altogether because it wasn’t worth the credit used. I usually enjoy her books - I just couldn’t connect with this one in particular.

Love B. Jackson Books… but

I love the stories but I couldn’t give this five stars because of Cary’s voice in the second book lol. Don’t get me wrong - I like Cary Hites’ narration in other books, but when it comes to Brenda Jackson’s books I’m a Ron Butler fan girl.

There’s just something about Ron’s narrations, voice changes, accents… the whole organization of it all when he narrates. He brings life to the characters and the words just flow so smoothly.

My request is for B. Jackson to stick to using Ron Butler for narration especially when it comes to strong male leads.

Overall, I enjoyed the books. Great reads

I enjoyed the story but tbqh, it was waayyy too short. Like I feel like there could’ve been more elaborated on and some of the key things were just repetitive to make it longer.
Overall I enjoy listening to Brenda Jackson’s audio books.

Omg loved this book

I truly enjoyed listening to this book. The narration from beginning to end was on point. I can honestly say that It wasn’t dull; not by a long shot. I would highly recommend anyone to listen to this book because you won’t regret it. One of the things I loved the most about it was the turnaround for Avery’s character. I thought for sure that she wouldn’t make it so I’m content with her recovery and ending. TBH It’s sad the way that Dianne treated her daughters but it is very common behavior with a lot of women in today’s society. I hope that there’ll be a part 2 because I hate the cliff hanger for the book. I want to know how Celia will take the news. Please don’t leave us hanging like this. We need a part 2!

Great read

Well!!! First and foremost This book took me on a rollercoaster but I loved every minute of it. 2nd It’s truly a great read. 3rd Monty was a piece of shit. They say what glitters isn’t always gold and it’s sad because this book is such a great adaptation to real life obstacles that us women face daily. DV is a touchy subject and the author truly delivered a captivating story centered around this. I also want to say I love books narrated by Nicole Small. Please listen to this book I promise you will not be disappointed it is worth the credit/funds. The only disappointment I had was the cliff hanger about her underlying relationship with her mom in the end but otherwise that great book from start to finish

I enjoyed the book. Hated the narrators accent but the story was very entertaining and a great read. The book was worth the money/credit. Would definitely recommend you to read or listen to it you won’t be disappointed.

Great story but I find that The accents were very unpolished. None of them spoke Jamaican patois correct. In fact, The twanging sounds more like a bajan or trini accent. I also didn’t like how the story ended. Will there be a part 2? Overall I enjoyed it. If you can get past the fake accents it’s really a great book

Loved it!!!

This book was worth it to me. To each his own. I love it!! After you get into it and get the gist of the storyline you will undoubtedly fall in love with the story. There are no words to explain the chemistry between Theo and Chloe. Honestly I’d LOVE to see this book as a motion picture. Well done Ms Williams and a job well done to the narrators Honey and Cary.
