great book but could only listen for an hour at a time because of anger issues.
i applaud his bravery yet hope there is a special place in hell for the author.

I honestly do not think I can slog through this after just barely making through the previous book by skipping whole chapters.
I think by the time this book is finished all characters will have the same voice. right now I can't tell who I'm listening too.
I can't believe a decent producer / director would let this happen.
Someone isn't paying attention
Had I not purchased this on sale I would return it

Wretched audio quality

The story isn't bad the narrator is fine but audio quality is horrible.
Even at full blast can't really understand much of the content.
Muddy audio plus a wide and frequent variety of bumping. very distracting.

I've been waiting so long for this book. I adore David Sedaris. I have some of his books almost mesmerized I've listened to them so many times. His timing and pace come through in his telling of his stories.
I also love Tracy Ullman . I appreciate her genius as well but I wanted to cry when I found out David would not be narrating this whole book.
people flock to see David to hear his genius and timing.
it is still funny well written wordsmith from Sedaris just not the same

Interesting about the history of India at that time and how they handle problem wildlife.
the narrator injected too much drama.
followed up with Mary roaches new book Fur for perspective

Very interesting parts. how the brain and perception can lead us astray.
I would say fascinating but the author doesn't show a whole lot of the humility he preaches.
he speaks of an " I love me" room at the end. this guys room must be sizeable

I found this book amazing. I work in healthcare and have for 25 Years. My hear bleeds for this young woman on so many levels. I hope her life is long and happy. She truly deserves it. I cried when she described her negative experiences with healthcare professionals who don't listen and don't care. her research into how these devices are made was so well done.
