Well written and performed!

This was a different kind of story. Sure, it had all the hallmarks of a good mystery, however it had something else - a story of recovery from someone who has been there and knows that recovery is a lifelong process.

Good to the very end.

There were a couple of places that seemed very long, yet in the end, they were vital to the story.
Great listen!

Had me chuckling aloud a few times. Took a little while to find the culprits, yet a good listen.

Historia
Never is an extraordinary novel, full of heroines and villains, false prophets and elite warriors, jaded politicians and opportunistic revolutionaries. It brims with cautionary wisdom for our times, and delivers a visceral, heart-pounding story that transports listeners to the brink of the unimaginable.

Amazing book

A real cliff hanger at the end. Wonder if it will be resolved in another book.
Good character development and weaving together of more than one story line.

Historia
A mysterious island. An abandoned orphanage. A strange collection of very curious photographs. As our story opens, a horrific family tragedy sets 16-year-old Jacob journeying to a remote island off the coast of Wales, where he discovers the ruins of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. As Jacob explores its abandoned bedrooms and hallways, it becomes clear that the children were more than just peculiar. They may have been dangerous. And somehow—impossible though it seems—they may still be alive.

If you like something that is a bit wired, this is the book for you. I know it’s probably a teen book, but I ( an older adult) loved it!
