hard to keep track
Revisado: 11-16-18
I really enjoyed the story, but I thought but it was really hard to keep track of the characters and where we were in the story, it jumps around back and forth a lot. It did have a really good ending and a good story, I might have been better red rather than listened to.

Historia
Cassie Forrest isn't surprised to learn that the day she’s decided to get her life together is also the day the world ends. After all, she’s been on a self-imposed losing streak since her survivalist parents died: she’s stopped painting, broken off her engagement to Adrian and dated a real jerk. Rectifying her mistakes has to wait, however, because Cassie and her friends have just enough time to escape Brooklyn for her parents’ cabin before Bornavirus LX turns them into zombies, too.

Historia
Deuce’s whole world has changed. Down below, she was considered an adult. Now, topside in a town called Salvation, she’s a brat in need of training in the eyes of the townsfolk. She doesn’t fit in with the other girls: Deuce only knows how to fight. To make matters worse, her Hunter partner, Fade, keeps Deuce at a distance. Her feelings for Fade haven’t changed, but he seems not to want her around anymore. Confused and lonely, she starts looking for a way out.

Good story. Very bad narration
Revisado: 11-04-15
I really enjoy the story. But I wonder if I would have liked it more if I read it instead of listened to the audio book. I really did not enjoy the narration.

Historia
The Appalachian Trail trail stretches from Georgia to Maine and covers some of the most breathtaking terrain in America - majestic mountains, silent forests, sparking lakes. If you’re going to take a hike, it’s probably the place to go. And Bill Bryson is surely the most entertaing guide you’ll find. He introduces us to the history and ecology of the trail and to some of the other hardy (or just foolhardy) folks he meets along the way - and a couple of bears. Already a classic, A Walk in the Woods will make you long for the great outdoors (or at least a comfortable chair to sit and read in).

Not what I expected
Revisado: 10-08-15
Would you try another book from Bill Bryson and/or Rob McQuay?
No I don't think so, Bryson is a great writer but I didn't enjoy all of the material.
What was most disappointing about Bill Bryson’s story?
I thought the book would be a funny story about two men hiking the AT, but instead I got a book that went on and on with textbook like information.
