Historia
Eighty-nine-year-old Isabelle McAllister has a big favor to ask her hairdresser, Dorrie. She wants the black single mother to drop everything and drive her from Texas to a funeral in Ohio - tomorrow. Dorrie, fleeing problems of her own and curious about Isabelle’s past, agrees, not knowing it will be a journey that changes both their lives. Isabelle confesses that, as a teen in 1930s Kentucky, she fell in love with Robert Prewitt, a would-be doctor and the black son of her family’s housekeeper - in a town where blacks weren’t allowed after dark. The tale of their forbidden relationship and its tragic consequences just might help Dorrie find her own way.

Wonders of a Child's Pain
Revisado: 03-27-22
The story are many innocent peoples worst nightmare.
Unfortunately, those in the position who has the power to make the difference on a young child's live, can end up being the sane people that oposse hard no matter of good intentions. Black and white is Not always gray. And a young child is not without means of feeding information that can set matters right. If we care enough to see the individual as an individual not a text book majority. A suffering child has a built in survival code. Will we care enough to Pay attention to the child, get to know the child and they will inform you in their own clever way; not the form someone else may use. But, there own way they will conjure up when the system fells to look for signs. A suffering child assumes intellectual information. Steven's daughter cleverly helped herself. Children can feel when something is not right. They WILL tell you/us!
Real life's experiences call for real life skills not just text book alone. Children have instincts that provide real answers.
Great reminder that man can not direct its own footsteps and will stumble many times!

Revisado: 03-05-22
Only a few parts that I didn't like; although it Did Not have ANYTHING to do with Monks character. It was a great find because the character Monk is the laughter that fuels healing.
I always enjoyed viewing a program or movie than reading said publication. But Audio reading adds Not only the icing but also the sprinkles🤗😉
