This is the first time that I listen to this podcast. It was fun and interesting. I have read this book several times, but I have never been able to discuss it with anyone to the degree the ladies discussed it like in this podcast. So, I found it fun, interesting, and quite hilarious. Thanks ladies for a great time and a wonderful discussion. CSA

Ever since I began reading Caroline Mitchell's books, I have always enjoyed each one. This is the first that it took me a little bit to get into the book. The narrator did a wonderful job, the story just moved a little slow for me, and it was a little difficult for me to become invested in the characters. So, it took me a long time to fully engage with this book. Once I did, though, it was on from there. The killer's motives were just amazing to me. she always kept my attention no matter what phase of the book I was in. I understood it, but at the same time, I just didn't get it. The characters were well developed, and I truly loved Jack Downs' character. He was great to me. Ruby is the main female character, and I think the author did an excellent job making her well-rounded with flaws and great attributes. Her counterpart Nathan is also quite flawed, but there's just something about him that makes me attracted to the man he is as he struggles throughout the book because he loves someone he can't have and Ruby struggles as well. there's this triangle along with the need to stop a rather diabolical killer. Then, all hell breaks loose. I thought I knew who the killer was and how the individual was getting away with it, and then, that became a moot point, as that person died, and I found out who it was. Let's just say, I wasn't expecting that. There were so many unexpected moments, as the book drew to a close and all I could do was sit there with my mouth hanging open in astonishment and continue reading. If I were one to bite my nails, I'm sure I wouldn't have any right now. I'm looking forward to the next installment. I'm sure it'll be just as good if not better. Caroline Mitchell is always surprising me.

Karen Rose brings us into a world of intrigue, suspense, and revelations.
Say No More is the second installment in the Sacramento Series. The reader begins with a flashback of the heroine and her mother. From that moment on, it is a rollercoaster of intense emotion, action, and family. The characters were so rich and engaging they became a part of my reality for the hours I spent with them. I thoroughly enjoyed the family atmosphere that Karen Rose offers the reader in this book. This is definitely offered and implied in many of her novels, but in Say No More, I could feel the building love and affection that was there for one another in this book. Characters offered their love and affection in so many different ways in this novel that I was nearly brought to tears a few times. The emotion was high and the action felt real.
I was a glutton and simply greedily gorged on this book. To keep from giving away the plot line, I will only say that every piece of the novel had me engaged. I talked out loud. I screamed, which I'm sure my neighbors loved. I cackled at some of the jokes. I shouted at characters, analyzed behaviors, and wished for more. I found myself rolling my eyes and sighing every now and then. Yes, I completely interacted with this book as if I were a character myself, not that anyone listened to me, and I swear I had some pretty good ideas, LOL. Overall, I was entertained and taken on quite the journey. I look forward to the next book. I wonder what the next voyage Karen Rose's words will provide in the next Sacramento Novel.
Joel Froomkin did a great job with the narration. He brought the story to life. What I liked most about his narration was that I was able to differentiate between characters. His intonations were spot on, and even though Karen Rose's story was incredible, Joel's gift of narration added to the excitement and edge the book had.

As usual, Nalini Singh created an excellent book. Her character development is amazing. Her storyline is outstanding. I truly enjoyed this book. I have always wondered about the main female character in other books, and to get to know her better was really a nice experience. Of course, I miss all the old characters, but we got to see Sasha and Lucas in this book. So, it was an overall wonderful experience. I would recommend this book to anyone. I am looking forward to the next installment and hoping it’s just as good.

The beginning of this book is a little slow. Give it time and you will come to see why this book is absolutely excellent. At first, I didn’t like any of the characters, not one of them. After a while, I came to love Maggie! She was awesome. This book had me on the edge of my seat, hoping I wasn’t hearing what I was hearing. Each moment pushed me forward in the narrative. I truly enjoyed this book. I would recommend it to anyone. The narrators did an excellent job. If you are looking for a good psychological thriller, I would recommend this one.

This book was better than the first book to me. It was really slow, but again momentum, and I think it finished fairly well. The narrator’s were great and they made the book more interesting than it really was. A lot of people say that Nothing More was the first book they read by Anna Todd. I find that really disappointing considering that the after series was awesome and most people decided to give up on her books because of nothing more. This book made the difference for me because it ended well and I finally got to find out what the heck was going on. I was really frustrated with Nora and I couldn’t stand Dakota and a couple of times this time even Landon got on my nerves. It was an interesting read and I will try her other couple of books, but I think she could’ve done better with the Landen books. That’s just my opinion. CSA

This book was extremely different from the after books. I enjoyed it, but not half as much as I enjoyed the other books. I’m not sure if I fully understand what’s going on with the characters in this book. Hopefully, the next book will shed some light on it. CSA

As usual, miss Cherry delivers a wonderful story. Her characters are extremely well developed. She has so much power in nearly every word on the page. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I felt like I knew her characters and I felt like I relayed it to them. Her description of depression and how it feels it’s so very real. I can’t wait to read book 2 in the duet. The performance above narrators was spot on. I think that they did a wonderful verbal rendition of this book. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. I would recommend this book to anyone.

I was a little disappointed with this book. I have waited for a very long time for this book to come out on Audible because I can’t see to read anymore. I was all excited, and for me this book was a bit of a letdown. I thought it was gonna be more action packed than it was. However, I feel like there is a promise of action that was never seen. Overall, I gave this book 4 stars because the performance was great he did the best he could with it. The story was OK.
