Historia
At first, Logan Ramsay isn’t sure if anything’s different. He just feels a little . . . sharper. Better able to concentrate. Better at multitasking. Reading a bit faster, memorizing better, needing less sleep. But before long, he can’t deny it: Something’s happening to his brain. To his body. He’s starting to see the world, and those around him—even those he loves most—in whole new ways. The truth is, Logan’s genome has been hacked. And there’s a reason he’s been targeted for this upgrade.

I love Blake’s works but this one drags on..
Revisado: 08-13-22
It never really gripped me with interest like Blake’s other works (Incursion, Dark Matter). And it gets preachy with propaganda of the times, climate change… 😨. At the halfway point I skipped through to the end. I figured by halfway if I wasn’t feeling it, it’s done for me.

Good but needs more Boxy
Revisado: 09-18-21
These books are always good but the later books tend to try to develop too many characters and lose the focus on Boxy. This book follows that path. And I noticed that the later books have less and less to do with the Title as the earlier books.
Anyhow, I still love the series. I just want more of Boxy and his exploits and less of Kira Morgana(the persona sucks), less of the empire, republic, etc. etc.
Let the box have his time in the sun. Oh and more of Rebecca please. He is an amazing and clever God.

Revisado: 04-28-21
It’s not the greatest story in the world, not the best I’ve heard but if you liked the previous books, you will enjoy this one also. I love the connections to the other series written by the author and how in this book the plot thickens with said connections.
See you in the next one.

Uninteresting
Revisado: 01-09-21
I love Star Wars so i was pumped for this book. I really wanted to give it a chance.
Unfortunately, the story is very hard to get into. Several hours in and I had nothing I could grab onto. No interesting characters that you can get behind. Not even the new Jedi.
I didn’t even make it to the new villians. 3 or 4 hours in and I just kind zoned out missing things here and there, with no desire to rewind.
The narrator has done an amazing job on past books and continues to do that here but this story is garbage.
I realize not all Star Wars has to be about Sith vs Jedi but when you don’t come to the table with that, there has got to be something strong and interesting take it’s place. The Mandalorian does that very very well. But this doesn’t even come close.

Historia
Neil Gaiman has long been inspired by ancient mythology in creating the fantastical realms of his fiction. Now he turns his attention back to the source, presenting a bravura rendition of the great northern tales. In Norse Mythology, Gaiman fashions primeval stories into a novelistic arc that begins with the genesis of the legendary nine worlds; delves into the exploits of the deities, dwarves, and giants; and culminates in Ragnarok, the twilight of the gods and the rebirth of a new time and people.

Cheesy and Forced acting.
Revisado: 10-15-20
Not sure how much longer I can last...
The comedy is so cheesy, and the acting just doesn’t feel natural. Also I’m wondering if anything interesting will happen. How does this book relate to the title? Don’t know yet.

The Chatty Vampires? 🤔
Revisado: 08-19-20
Yes... a chatty affair. Not your typical vampire tale but entertaining none the less. The narrator does great impressions and really does a great job of bringing the listener into the world of the book. This is not an action packed book. It’s more of a passionately told tale of a man’s experience with vampires.

So Good! Masterfully narrated.
Revisado: 05-02-20
This book was so goood and entertaining. The narrator masterfully performed the voices. Particularly Qui-Gon's voice was the best. This portrayal allowed me to feel that I was genuinely listening to a star wars adventure. I haven't enjoyed a Star Wars book this much in quite some time since the new cannon era came about.

A bit Meh...
Revisado: 03-16-20
Didn’t particularly care for the narration perspective of Ventress. Also didn’t like Count Dooku’s voice acting. Didn’t sound at all like him. The story focused too much on the past weaving in and out of several different time periods and strangely, all of the different voice actors didn’t enhance this story for me. They confused me more! Sorry, but 3 stars from me. I did listen til the end so at least I can say that.

Historia
Everyone loves Mathias. Naturally, when he discovers it’s his destiny to save the world, he dives in headfirst, pulling his best friend, Aaslo, along for the ride. However, saving the world isn’t as easy, or exciting, as it sounds in the stories. The going gets rough, and folks start to believe their best chance for survival is to surrender to the forces of evil, which isn’t how the prophecy goes. At all. As the list of allies grows thin and the friends find themselves staring death in the face, they must decide how to become the heroes they were destined to be.

Takes awhile to become interesting.
Revisado: 12-15-19
Hmm where do I start. This book crawls out of the gates of adventure. The main character, once made clear who that is, does not get the proper explanation of why he matters in the story. Because of this, I often found myself lost as to the purpose of his journey if everyone keeps says that all hope is lost. To me it felt like the author could have placed an element of “I have a secret trick up my sleeve” in someone’s hands. Anyone’s hands. I guess I just don’t get it. Even the prophets and the God’s say you’re doomed?
Nick is great as always but I feel the story really lacked something to look forward to. When it did finally become interesting, it was as if the author realized “ok this is rather bland... let’s spice it up”. Then things got weird. I mean seriously? Half monster half magic user?
