Historia
Julian Lawndsley has renounced his high-flying job in the city for a simpler life running a bookshop in a small English seaside town. But only a couple of months into his new career, Julian’s evening is disrupted by a visitor. Edward, a Polish émigré living in Silverview, the big house on the edge of town, seems to know a lot about Julian’s family and is rather too interested in the inner workings of his modest new enterprise.

Beautiful farewell to one of the greatest
Revisado: 09-06-22
This novel was finished with great consistency and JLC depicted with surgical accuracy the effects of runaway intelligence agencies in a time of incoherent foreign policy. Most of all, this book delivers an encouraging message of human kindness and courage.

Historia
Viktor Orlov had a longstanding appointment with death. Once Russia’s richest man, he now resides in splendid exile in London, where he has waged a tireless crusade against the authoritarian kleptocrats who have seized control of the Kremlin. His mansion in Chelsea’s exclusive Cheyne Walk is one of the most heavily protected private dwellings in London. Yet somehow, on a rainy summer evening, in the midst of a global pandemic, Russia’s vengeful president finally manages to cross Orlov’s name off his kill list.

Silva goes from anti-Christian to Woke
Revisado: 08-02-21
Just when all you want to enjoy for a little summer time distraction is listen a good old shallow romantic spine of all, as was Gabriel Allons trademark narrative, This painful audiobook comes along. Mostly boring and painful Covid references, the story nearly identical to many of its predecessor novels and a massive -trump derangement syndrome makes this title virtually Unpalatable.

Historia

Classic feel-good JG with eery references to current events...
Revisado: 05-09-20
This would’ve been a fantastic entertainment during normal times. At this time, it provides both a fantastic escape from the current crisis as well as provides spooky references to current events. There are many dystopias depicting Horror scenarios, And of course it’s not Grisham’s style to produce those. Yet, the parallels drawn in his story are absolutely breathtaking.Great production and I love Michael back as a narrator. Every bit as good as the first coming on title.

Actually not as good as the ghost writer...
Revisado: 08-06-18
I have enjoyed this book since it guess back to the roots of the Ryan clan saga.
Somewhat annoying political preaching and agenda make it long winded.
Narrator also uses Australian accent for the English which is irritating. Other than that very entertaining.

Revisado: 02-19-18
Great job by Alex Hutchinson explaining all currently trending theories by the likes of Marcora, Noakes, Jeukendrup et al in a very cohesive manner.
I had previously read most of the individual contributor's works but put together in this fascinating book it all makes sense.
