You are pulled into the action from page one as you follow Rachel and Lexi along their trip. A light and engaging story and just when you think the steamy scenes can't get any more steamy, you soon find out that they not only can but absolutely do.

The main character, Kelsey, grabs you by the heartstrings from the first page and never lets go. I wasn't expecting this to be as emotional as it was and loved all of the layers to the story. The vivid descriptions of the sights and smells in the greenhouse, along with the descriptions of Kelsey's home, made me feel like I was right there along side her, for both the good and the bad. I rooted for her through the entire book wholeheartedly.

The narration was excellent as well (if there's one thing that will stop me from finishing an audiobook it's a bad narrator).

If you're looking for something that explores family dynamics, science and a little bit of mystery this is absolutely the book for you.

I am pretty hit or miss on non-fiction. It can go dry and boring quick, especially without the right narrator. Well I am very happy to say this was absolutely not the case here.

The book was very interesting and I learned a lot. My favorite part was learning more about the psychology behind why people tell lies and the different motivations that they have behind them. It's a much broader spectrum than I would have expected and I really enjoyed learning about it in depth. The information about how (and sometimes when) to handle people who are lying to you is easy to understand and helpful.

The narrator did a fantastic job on this as well and I definitely recommend this.

No matter your age, this is an absolute gem of a book. It reminds me of some of my favorites books as a child, full of magic, adventure and friendships. The interaction between the characters was believable, I especially liked the dynamic between the siblings . It's great to see a brother and sister cooperate and get along, if with the age difference between them.

While their journey takes them through trials and tribulations, they make it through them by having faith and supporting each other. A great read!
