A writer's job is to make the ordinary extraordinary. I've been a speaker and trainer for decades and so I know first hand that becoming extraordinary as a speaker is another game entirely. Laura Reid takes the complexity and art of speaking and makes it easy to understand and access. She makes it (speaking, great speaking) feel as accessible as talking with friends. Her stories are engaging, fun and insightful. My game (speaking game), income, life has gone up, up up!

One of the most impactful books I've ever read

Between the stories, the phenomenally inspiring heroes, the clear lessons and teachings, as well as all delivered in a clear and passionate reading, this books is life-changing. Having read may of Holiday's books, this is by far my favorite. I know I am a better person for the reading. I know I will come back to it again and again, continuing to uplift my life and behavior toward the models of justice that Ryan shared and now I feel so much more connected to.

So important, clear and powerful

It's almost trite that this is the book I wish I had when I was first "expecting" to become a Dad. The pregnancy and the entry into the world of fatherhood was so important to me. I read tons of books. I read about birth and pregnancy a lot, though always focused on that process, on my partner. Not only did I not have the crucial info that this book so brilliantly delivers, it didn't even occur to me how much I needed it.
Every father will benefit from this amazing book!
