Historia
Over the course of his 60 years, Christopher Hitchens has been a citizen of both the US and the UK. He has been both a socialist opposed to the war in Vietnam and a supporter of the US war against Islamic extremism in Iraq. He has been both a foreign correspondent in some of the world's most dangerous places and a legendary bon vivant with an unquenchable thirst for alcohol and literature. He is a fervent atheist, raised as a Christian, by a mother whose Jewish heritage was not revealed to him until her suicide. He sees all sides of an argument and believes the personal is political.

A beautiful story. of a powerful mind. Listening to Hitchens tell his life story was gripping, exciting, and at times, heartbreaking. I laughed, wept, and felt my blood boil as I poured through this wonderful expose of a man I have grown to greatly admire. I could only wish to have a life maybe half as interesting as Christopher has. Listening to him speak in hushed tones about working with underground revolutions all over the world, makes his life like that of a political thriller. I'm glad to add this tome to my collection. The Hitch is dearly missed.
P.S for some unexplained and infuriating reason I have been confined to give this book only one star. This is unacceptable. My true rating is five stars all the way.
