Good but a bit out of date

Who still listens to “tapes” on their runs? I lost my Walkman ages ago. Who doesn’t use an app to track their runs nowadays? If it’s not on Strava it doesn’t count.
While this book provides some good basic info, it could really use an update as a lot of the info has changed - even the run specific info such as this book advising to never train on an empty stomach (lots of new research regarding “fasted training” and EPOC after High Intensity Interval Training)

You can probably figure out the plot in the first quarter, the rest just drags

Aside from the narrator's awful Chinese accent impersonation (when reading the dialogue of a Thai person nonetheless), she manages to keep a reasonable flow. It's just a pity that the story is written with so much filler that it just drags and drags. Anyone with common sense can figure out the plot and any expectation of hope for a plot twist or surprise reveal will be sorely disappointed.
