A great book following the lives of four widows linked by their husband's business partnership and mafia association. An excellent storyline brought to life by the distinctive voices in the narration. In other words, it's really great listening! Make yourself happy and read it!!

And Pip the pixie is returning and I'll just have to wait. Go ahead and read this one now, sort of like sipping water to avoid dehydration, because before we know it Mrs Sherrer will produce the rest of the story. ❤️

This is the last book in the series and such a poignant love story. The relationship that grows between the two magnificent dragons is so real feeling that it sometimes seems more than just a book. It is a fun. action packed story. I cried because it was the end of the series. Sigh.

What a tumultuous love relationship! He is one of the shape changing dragons and she is an elf essentially in holy orders so of course they are destined to fall in love. True love is not an easy path. especially in the middle of a war. Great love story! Really good action story with familiar characters. Fun to read several times!

What a perfect combination! A dragon shape changer who is a gorgeous kilt wearing Scot! Then there is the lady with the abilities to catch his full attention. Great love story wrapped in and around the continuing story of the dragon siblings battling to survive their mother's wrath. That woman is just awful!! Just keep remembering those long legs, broad shoulders, etc. oh my, yes!

OK, I admit I have a failing for Brits in suits with pipes, bookstore, etc. Maybe Genevieve Jack wrote this with me in mind. The magically protected country estate is so perfect and the evil, horrible Empress of Paragon (mother of my favorite dragon shape changers) can scare the polish off my toe nails! That woman is evil personified!! The characters remain true from their first appearance in book 1, which us amazing considering how involved the plot line has become. Such great fun to read!!
