Loved returning to Day and her crazy Hollywood friends. This mystery took us deeper into the Hollywood life as Day's reputation as a PI took the Hollywood spotlight. It is great to see her navigate the Hollywood world as a "has been" who is not trying to seek fame and fortune anymore. She has fully embraced her future as a PI, and I love it. I wish we saw more of her relationship with Omari, but I'm happy with the little that we have

As for the mystery, I did not see the two twist at the end coming. I usually guess the killer, but I had no idea about this one. So many twist and turns. How do you catch a killer only to find out the killer was a murder for hire situation? Nothing random about it at all.

Also, I hope we get some future books. This series is too good to end here.

I might like this series more than the Sin Brothers. I didn't think that was possible.

Fun Ride

I received this book for an honest review.

I love the twist of using the marriage of convenience trope.

I do like that Sasha wasn't presented as a naive woman waiting for someone to show her the world. Landon may have introduce her to new things, but she handled them on her own terms. My favorite moments was at the Cannes Festival when she blew a kiss to the fans. It shows she can handle herself in any situation.

As for the romance, it got predictable at times, but the characters are enjoyable. I wish we had more of Landon's point of view throughout the book.

A Good Kind of Thriller

I loved this book. The protagonist Lindsey is being stalked and no one believes her. Ben witnesses her attacks and finally she has someone to believe her, but that doesn't help. She is ridiculed by her colleagues and her boss. All of this is happening, because she is getting too close to a story.

I love the layers Ellie Ashe brings to the characters. Lindsey is doing her best to live up to her renowned parents, but she is doing it in secret. She doesn't advertise that her mother is a world famous journalist and her father is the editor-in-chief of a major Los Angeles newspaper. I respect her for that.

I also love how Ben is on a journey of self discovery. He's trying to figure out if he wants to be a corporate lawyer drone who helps insurance companies win cases or does he want to be more proactive.

One advice I would give anyone who listens to this is to make note of all the characters in this book. There are no small characters. There are a lot of moving pieces that comes to a satisfying climax.

Short, but page turning

I received this book for an honest review.

By a stroke of luck is Summer saved from a serial killer. During her attack, she hits her head. She wakes up in the hospital and can see shapes. Concerned for her safety, her brother sends his best friend, Nick, to protect her.

If you are a fan of the brother's best friend trope, this story is for you.

It was a light mystery. We did get to see the POV of the serial killer. I wish the story was a little longer. I feel like it had a lot more potential and could've explored Summer's insecurities about Nick and about the possibility of getting her eye sight back.

Overall, it was a good book. I listened to it in one sitting.

I've been listening to the LOST series since the beginning.

This installment is good, but I did guess the killer. This is my first time doing so.

However, I like the change of scenery. Asher and Bailey's love story does inspire. I'm a little disappointed that his sister is not going to have a relationship with the new sheriff.

Great Series

I'm writing this review after listening to all three books.
It is a fantastic series and I will recommend it to everyone. It has Cynthia Eden's signature mix of mystery, intrigue and sexiness.

Jane Hart has entered into a world in which she was born. She doesn't understand her overwhelming attraction to Alpha werewolf Aidan. However, when she acts on it, it well worth the wait.

The mythology of this series makes me want it to be expanded into another series.

Refreshing Story

I love a good werewolf story. Paige Tyler's take on werewolves is refreshing. It's only a severe circumstance coupled with the werewolf gene that makes a person a werewolf. Most people do not know they are werewolf until they change into one.

I honestly thought Mac was going to turn into one, but she did not. That was a twist. I like the love story and the uncertainty of everything. The SWAT team get answers as they go along.

I do like the little suspense that is woven into the story. I wish it was more of a mystery. We pretty much know who the bad guy is. It is proving it that creates the suspense.

Worth The Listen

I received this book for an honest review.

I was thrilled to hear that the book was in third person. I've never been a fan of first person. However, it's third person one POV. I wish some of the story was written in Gage's POV.

The story starts off nice. Gage is not mature enough to tell Jasmine he likes her. He acts like a school grader by teasing and torturing her. He's portrayed as a typical rich kid. However, this rich kid is a bookie, because it's a business venture that gets him out of his old money family's shadow.

This audiobook is short, but it does have some hot sex scenes. I wish parts of the story was longer, but overall, it is a great book. The sex scenes make it worth the listen.

5 Book Treat

I received this book as a gift for an honest review.

This is five short romances in one. All the characters are great, but I wish the love stories were longer. I do like the overarcing story about the other pack that helped to tie the stories together. However, I think every story could be have been expanded.

Meghan Kelly is a great narrator and can easily draw you into a story. She is great at created unique voices for the different characters. I didn't have to figure out who was talking.

I would recommended this book.
