Historia
A US Navy commander is attacked by an unidentified Russian man while having dinner with his wife. A CIA operative travelling on a Canadian passport is intercepted and interrogated at Tehran Airport. A team of FBI officers are arrested by Indonesian police for travelling under fake passports in Jakarta. These apparently unrelated incidents point to a compromise in US government security, and Jack Ryan and his team must find out where it is coming from.

Most exiting one in a while
Revisado: 09-26-19
Having read the previouse5 books in the series I can say this one is a cracker. Edge of your seat stuff, nearly all the time. The action got going nearly from the word go and not toward the middle/end of the book.
In a sense there are multiple story lines all with its own action and intrigue.

Historia
Abandoned by other international leaders, Jack Ryan alone counters the threat posed by Russian president Valeri Volodin. This isn't the first time that the dictator has threatened world peace, but this time he's playing a very nuanced game, moving chess pieces around the board while isolating Ryan from the rest of the international community. Fortunately, Jack Ryan, Jr. and the rest of his Campus team find themselves in the middle of action with a vital clue to the Russian's intentions.

Lost of politic not so much campus action
Revisado: 09-12-19
This was any least favorite of the series so far. It felt like it had limited campus action. Narration was better than the previous book.

Historia
A North Korean ICBM crashes into the Sea of Japan. A veteran CIA officer is murdered in Ho Chi Minh City, and a package of forged documents goes missing. The pieces are there, but assembling the puzzle will cost Jack Ryan, Jr., and his fellow Campus agents precious time. Time they don't have.

Narrator takes getting used to
Revisado: 08-29-19
I started the Jack Ryan series with locked on and enjoyed every one since then. It took some getting used to Scott Brick coming from Lou Diamond Phillips who was brilliant. The first couple of chapters is especially challenging.
Once the story got going it felt like the narrator woke up as well.
Like with the other books the story get pretty exiting towards the end.
The wind down in the end felt a bit quick when everything wrapped up and the villains met their end.
Overall I enjoyed the book and will be getting n to the next one in the series
