i loved this book and will re-listen to it again and again. i hope the author will revisit this world and tell the stories of Hawke and his brother. this author was new to me but they have gained a dedicated reader after this book!

this book caught me by surprise. all i can say is wow!!!! rose and danny's story pulled me onto the best roller-coaster ride fraught with twits, turns, plunges, and suspense. i would have loved to have an additional chapter that gives us insight into how Rose and little Danny's relationship develops and also if her and big Danny ever had kids as well. really i just didn't want to let them go. this is the first book i have ever read from this author but it will not be the last. i look forward to delving into a world of her creation again. great book!
