Historia
Zachary Quinto - best known for his role as the Nimoy-approved Spock in the recent Star Trek reboot and the menacing, power-stealing serial killer, Sylar, in Heroes - brings his well-earned sci-fi credentials and simmering intensity to this audio-exclusive novella from master storyteller John Scalzi. One day, not long from now, it becomes almost impossible to murder anyone - 999 times out of a thousand, anyone who is intentionally killed comes back. How? We don't know.

Interesting situation/premise
Revisado: 04-25-23
It’s an entertaining little diddy. Not much to it but I liked it. Too short to be much of a story.
Well read.
There are more of these books, I’m off to listen to them.

About as shallow and boring as could be. This is a kid’s time-travel book. I couldn’t stand any more and had to quit the field halfway through.

Interesting premise
Revisado: 11-29-22
The premise is quiet different and interesting. The action is tame but good anyway. The drama is light but engaging.
The author uses a unique method; that is the use of the first-person for two different people, without warning. At first I was confused as the switch between characters happens at a chapter break. I went back and listened to the end of the previous chapter again. Confused I just continued on. Later things became obvious.
Engaging, but is not a stand alone work. It needs the next book to be a complete work.
Recommended for time travel readers.

Historia
"I'm going to die a hundred years before I was born...." The handwritten note was in a dusty trunk that sat in a cave untouched for 150 years. What did the words mean? When journalist Ray Burton finds the trunk near the Arizona ghost town of Hollow Rock, his life changes in an instant. Something in the trunk shouldn’t be there. This begins a dangerous journey of discovery bordering on the impossible. A discovery that will affect the past, the present, and the future.

Not much of a story
Revisado: 10-14-22
Maybe as a series it’s ok, but as stand alone book, not so much. The storyline is thin, it goes nowhere, character development is left wanting and finishes up in a hurry. The reader while competent, is not engaging.
I don’t have time for the second in the series, there are better books to be had. Can’t say it’s bad but also can’t recommend it.

Historia
It's 1949. When war veteran Aloysius Archer is released from Carderock Prison, he is sent to Poca City on parole with a short list of dos and a much longer list of don'ts: do report regularly to his parole officer, don't go to bars, certainly don't drink alcohol, do get a job - and don't ever associate with loose women. The small town quickly proves more complicated and dangerous than Archer's years serving in the war or his time in jail.

The guy did a good job of reading a rather shallow but mildly entertaining tale. Slow paced and sleepy. Not one of Baldacci’s better books. But I wouldn’t badmouth it. It’s OK.
