Need I really say more? A very HEA book with just a bit of a thrill to keep it from being so tooth achingly sweet it’s unbelievable.
I saw a review saying that they need more diversity, there are stories out there like that, and I agree that it is nice to have a relatable feel to stories…but it’s nice to get out of your own head and be able to envision yourself as hot a buff with all the right stuff ;) every once in awhile.
Needles to say, I am a fan of this series and author. Keep up the good work and for new readers…enjoy

I loved the stories, but the narrator was definitely not a favorite. I was barely able to get past the first few chapters until I tried speeding the narration up. I was really able to get into it once I set the speed to 1:20.

A perfect "second chance" read

Joel Leslie was great, as usual, giving each character a personality while moving the story along nicely.
The story itself was great. Though it did a bit of mature context, it was minimal and towards the end. This story isn't a smut fest. The tension and heat build up to a beautiful happy ending. The characters didn't just fall into bed at first sight.

I love the concept...I think a little more thought and effort would have made this a great story. I wouldn't call it time travel or reincarnation...but I can dig the concept.
One thing that would have made this more enjoyable to me would be a different narrator. I know that narrating isn't the easiest job...but I am not a fan of Guy Veryzer. He is very monotone to me. And the cadence of his voice. I can only handle his narrations if I have other things to do.

droll and dragged

I had to force myself to finish this. it started out okay...but between the jumping from present to past from Henry to Sam...I found myself bored and dozing off from time to time.

couldn't finish the story

Sadly, I couldn't finish the story. The storyline it's self seemed interesting...but I just couldn't get past the woman narrators voice inflection is like nails on a chalkboard for me. I couldn't get past the second chapter... definitely one that I wish I could get my money back on.

The rollercoaster ride continued!

The ride that Kresley Cole started us on in Poison Princess has continued. This installment had me on the edge of my seat as well as keeping the Kelenex company going, one tissue at a time. I am even now tearing up thinking back on this one.
If you are reading reviews to see if this is the book for you...I recommend starting with book one, Poison Princess. Get to know Evangeline, Jack, and Arik. Fall in love with a blonde girl who doesn't want to hurt a soul. Know the strength and determination of a boy who came from nothing. Feel for the knight that has always been perpetually alone. If you get through book one...you will be hooked to the very end.

The voice, the story...

I am a big fan of Christine Feehan's stories, I have been for many many years. She does not disappoint with this story.

I just LOVE Jim Frangione's voice and story telling skills. He is, easily, in the top two of my list of five favorite narrator's. His voice alone draws me into the story, I hang on every word.
