First off, I love Tamara Leigh, I've read or listened to many of her titles. However, I did get a little lost trying to follow the story here. I couldn't always understand the narrator. As the accents became too strong at moments
and it left me a bit confused at times.But I did enjoy the lead characters and their love story. I highly Recommend her Age of Faith Series and the Feud Series , as well as Stealing Adda and Dreamspell. All of which I've thoroughly enjoyed. I still have more to read and I look forward to it!

Pretty Good

A good addition in the Fire Beach Series. Suspenseful, Entertaining and Sweet. The only negative I would say about it is this, I had trouble distinguishing between character voices at times and when the POV switched from one character to another. But that can happen at times and didn't bother me overly much. Now on to the 3rd in the series.😊

Old fashioned western romance

I got several chapters in and just couldn't find myself invested enough to keep listening. It's the style of writing you would find in older novels, it's just not my cup of tea. But it's clean and I'm sure a good story if you enjoy ones like it. And Though this one by Ms. Hoopes wasn't great for me , I am really enjoying her Men of Fire Beach series, more modern and up my alley with suspense, intrigue and romance. So I guess it's just about what you enjoy most. Ms. Hoopes is a good storyteller.

Love the name!

This is a nice suspense story. The characters are fun and intriguing. This was a first for me by Ms. Hoopes but I look forward to listening to the next in this series. It had one hiccup of a repeated line near the end. And Occasionally, I had a hard time telling when it switched from one character voice to another, but it was still well done and an enjoyable read.

Sweet

This addition to the Age of Faith series is a sweet journey to love. Complicated yet realistic to the time period. I loved Elias' poetic prose and tender expressions of love to his bride. They had a hard road to travel but it was worth it. The heroine is brave, strong, independent and caring. I hope to see more of their love story play out in future books.

Suspenseful, Romantic and Heartfelt

This was a wonderful romantic story filled with a lot of suspense, tension, heartache and sweet moments. Tom was an incredible hero. I think He's my favorite that I've read of Jody's thus far! I loved the romance and unabashed passion Tom's dad had for his wife and how he encouraged Tom to Love like that too. The dinner scene in chapter 12 had me giggling and fanning myself . Just so fun, sweet and honorable. A clean yet passionate story not to be missed!
