Historia
Once, there were four worlds, nestled like pages in a book, each pulsing with fantastical power and connected by a single city: London. Until the magic grew too fast and forced the worlds to seal the doors between them in a desperate gamble to protect their own. The few magicians who could still open the doors grew more rare as time passed and now, only three Antari are known in recent memory—Kell Maresh of Red London, Delilah Bard of Grey London, and Holland Vosijk, of White London.

Excellent continuation

I loved the world of the shades of magic series and getting more of it is excellent. The original narrators combined with a new voice really helped bring it all together.

Historia
For fans of Tina Fey and David Sedaris - Internet star Jenny Lawson, aka The Bloggess, makes her literary debut. Jenny Lawson realized that the most mortifying moments of our lives - the ones we'd like to pretend never happened - are in fact the ones that define us. In Let's Pretend This Never Happened, Lawson takes readers on a hilarious journey recalling her bizarre upbringing in rural Texas, her devastatingly awkward high school years, and her relationship with her long-suffering husband, Victor.

Funny stories and excited reading
Revisado: 12-17-19
I didn't enjoy this one as much as Furiously Happy, Jenny's 2nd book, but this was an enjoyable listen when you need something light-hearted. It's a good reminder that the things in our lives that seem totally mundane to us are sometimes completely absurd when you say them out loud to other people.

Great narration, but book is too short
Revisado: 09-24-15
I loved listening to this book. I felt that Michael David Axtell did an excellent job with the wide array of characters, to the point that it was easy to forget it was all read by the same person.
The story itself felt like a great start... I enjoyed the premise, but I felt like it could have been fleshed out a bit more. I think that the character of Jake was quite like able and relatable though, and if there is another book in the series I will likely purchase it, as this left me eager to see how both the author and the character can grow.
