What does Michael A. Smith bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
His ablilty to seperate characters with differing vocal inflections made the story much easier to follow

I read the book in college, and Mr. Smith's voice makes the story flow. One can listen to the story without any distraction.

This is a delightful story, and even though it lacks the monsters and gore and technology of more modern stories, it endures for a reason.

Among the very best
Who was your favorite character and why?
My favorite character was, of course, the hero, who struggles with his own faith while experiencing the very fulfillment of it. Also the Angel Rynniel, who teams up with the hero near the end of the story.
What about Michael A. Smith’s performance did you like?
The performance was articulate, clear, well-paced, and he did a remarkable job with all of the character voices, especially the non-human ones.
Any additional comments?
It is interesting to note that the author has a doctor of Divinity degree, and the incredible breadth of details are all well within biblical teaching, despite the fictional nature of the story.
