Citing examples ranging from Hammurabi to Seneca, Antaeus the Giant to Donald Trump, Nassim Nicholas Taleb shows how the willingness to accept one's own risks is an essential attribute of heroes, saints, and flourishing people in all walks of life.

The Author needs time to find a qualified editor to look at and trim his work. this material is too flat to make it to the Top! The author must definitely find a new narrator, with the correct and enjoyable accent and pronunciations. His work is good but for Audible this work is subpar.

Now Dawkins turns his considerable intellect on religion, denouncing its faulty logic and the suffering it causes.

If there was a 10star review i would give an 11
Revisado: 09-28-23
The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins is a thought-provoking and controversial book that challenges the concept of God and the existence of a creator. Dawkins argues that the idea of God is a delusion, and that there is no evidence to support the existence of a higher power.
Dawkins begins the book by defining what he means by a delusion. He argues that a delusion is a belief that is held despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary. He then goes on to argue that the belief in God is a delusion because there is no evidence to support it.
Dawkins draws on a variety of sources to support his argument, including science, philosophy, and history. He argues that science has shown that the universe is governed by natural laws, and that there is no need for a God to explain its existence. He also argues that philosophy has shown that the concept of God is incoherent, and that there is no way to prove or disprove the existence of a higher power.
Dawkins' book has been praised by some for its clear and concise writing style, and for its willingness to challenge conventional beliefs. However, it has also been criticized by others for its lack of nuance, and for its dismissive attitude towards religion.
Despite the controversy, The God Delusion is an important and influential book that has helped to shape the debate over the existence of God. It is a must-read for anyone interested in the topic of religion and atheism.
