I’ve read all of Jen L books so I knew it would be great. No one could have narrated this story like AC. She envelopes me into the story. She is my favorite and I listen to everyone she does just to hear her.
This book is so well written. It is a creative and genius piece of writing that will not be forgotten! I was absorbed into story from start to finish.
Yes, as the author warns, the delicate issue of suicide is included but dealt with such honesty, clarity and raw emotion. JL has obvious first hand experience with the subject matter. 30 yrs ago I lost my very young son to suicide at a time when the stigma was so much greater than today. The effects of that decision made by so many lasts a lifetime! Thankfully, athletes like Simone Biles and others are using their platform to bring the importance of mental health to the forefront. Bravo to you JL for using this masterpiece of a book to champion mental health and help shatter the stigma and “weakness” that to often overshadows the need. A beautifully written book with a difficult but necessary subject so well crafted into the story.
Thank you so much. This book has touched my heart and soul!

Relaxing easy listen

I love audiobooks! As always Ali Spooner writes a good story. This is an enjoyable easy listening. Not my favorite of hers but still worth reading.
I am not a fan of the narrator! She sounded like she was too upbeat and trying to hard. Just not enjoyable to me.

A great easy listen. And if you’re a horse lover it’s even better. I love listening to books even those I’ve already read. The characters become alive and you can see the story unfold.

I really wish Back in the Saddle was in audible also!!

Excellent

I’ve had a hard time lately getting into books or audiobooks, which is very rare cause I have both listened and read every day for yrs! I tried 8 different audiobooks and just could not get in them due to where my mind was. Then I tried this audiobook. Within minutes I was “into” it. Abby Craden is my all time favorite so I knew I had better chances of listening to her. However, they story quickly had me hooked. Who doesn’t love strong women? But I also love stories that have strong character development with some humor. This story also was so believable and real. The struggles that the main characters were dealing from lack of confidence to baggage from their past. They both grew as individuals by getting out of their comfort zone. Entertaining, thought provoking, well written. I will read more from the authors!

So Glad it in Audible form

I cannot say enough about JA Armstrong/Nancy Ann Healy! This series coming out in audible was just what I wanted. It offers so much; depth, reality, life lessons, humor to name only a few. I hope the next books will be out very soon!

Another Winner!

I love this series! The development of the characters Corelli and PJ including their relationship as partners is so well done. The cases are complex and relevant to the times we live in. Top all that off with Abby Craden and you can’t lose. No one reads like Abby. I really hope this series continues with Abby as well.

Excellent series

This series is one of the absolute best. It has it all. So many issues with corruption of top leaders and pollice, sex trafficking, abuse, family, loss, and love! The character development is excellent. Taking all this and adding Abby Craden to it, you have an unbeatable series. Nobody reads like Abby! This is the second time I have listened to the first 3 in the series. I keep hoping so much that the fourth will soon be out in audible with Abby C. Please, Please??!!!

I’m Ready for the Next One

What a riveting story! I listened to the audible and the narrator was absolutely perfect for the story. I cannot say enough positive words to describe this book. Yes, it was fiction; but the TRUTH is that this could very well become our reality and I suspect it is already starting. I love the strong female characters and how until the very end, the reader was guessing who were “the bad guys and girls”. And that really depends on our own definition of being an American.

I hope when the NEXT one comes out Joan Allen is the narrator.

Great Book!

I can’t say enough about this audible! The book had depth as both main characters are willing to honestly look at themselves to promote change and growth.

The medical scenes were well done and realistic. Being a medical professional it’s frustrating and mitigates the realism of a book, if the author has not done her research. This author definitely has done hers.

In my opinion there is no better narrator than Abby Craden. She is the best!

I look forward to more by both Chris Zett and Abby Craden.

Excellent book. Grief is hard to to put in words, but the author does a good job in the storyline. I love how Jack and Lindsay tentatively share their story and the connect. I wanted to book the keep going. Abby Craden is my favorite of all time narrator! Only problem with Gerri Hill is she doesn’t come out the books fast enough!
