This book by Dr. Hansen is an excellent introduction for those new to the topic of psychedelics, and a refreshing reminder for those of us who have a history with psychedelics.
The first portion of the book explores each substance, in depth. It explains the mechanism of action within the human body, as well as the psycho/spiritual effects, and explains various dosing strategies.
The remainder is a serious of first-hand accounts of personal psychedelic experiences, from a broad spectrum of people, who share how their use of psychedelics has impacted their lives.
The book also contains a concise, yet comprehensive chapter exploring the topic of micro-dosing.
Whether you are new to the topic of psychedelics, or you are a seasoned veteran of the psychedelic landscape, I have no doubt you will enjoy this educational & entertaining work.
Give it a listen!
