Historia
Feyre has undergone more trials than one human woman can carry in her heart. Though she’s now been granted the powers and lifespan of the High Fae, she is haunted by her time Under the Mountain and the terrible deeds she performed to save the lives of Tamlin and his people. As her marriage to Tamlin approaches, Feyre’s hollowness and nightmares consume her. She finds herself split into two different people: one who upholds her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court, and one who lives out her life in the Spring Court with Tamlin.

A Prize for Surviving Book One
Revisado: 03-29-25
Spectacular and Magical~ I was hesitant to continue the series because of how much I disliked book one. Was told over and over again to read book two and I am happy I did. Wonderful and compelling story.

Historia
Power is much easier to acquire than it is to hold onto. Jude learned this lesson when she released her control over the wicked king, Cardan, in exchange for immeasurable power. Now as the exiled mortal Queen of Faerie, Jude is powerless and left reeling from Cardan's betrayal. She bides her time, determined to reclaim everything he took from her. Opportunity arrives in the form of her deceptive twin sister, Taryn, whose mortal life is in peril.

Action Packed Dark Fantasy
Revisado: 03-26-25
Loved this trilogy and wow did it go out with a BANG! I was fully engrossed with the story, characters, ALL OF IT. Nothing left like filler and the characters were fleshed out so beautifully.

Historia
Fatima lives in the city of Noor, a thriving stop along the Silk Road. There the music of myriad languages fills the air, and people of all faiths weave their lives together. However, the city bears scars of its recent past, when the chaotic tribe of Shayateen djinn slaughtered its entire population - except for Fatima and two other humans. Now ruled by a new maharajah, Noor is protected from the Shayateen by the Ifrit, djinn of order and reason, and by their commander, Zulfikar. But when one of the most potent of the Ifrit dies, Fatima is changed in ways she cannot fathom....

Beautiful story with fantastic characters
Revisado: 03-26-25
Going in, I was told this could be a difficult listen with the amount of non-English words. If you read the hard copy there is a glossary at the end but my first experience with this story was as an audiobook. I loved the characters, they each had a compelling story and wonderful development. I found myself revisiting chapters just to relish in the moments and the language of it again and again.

Very bland Beauty and the Beast Retelling
Revisado: 03-26-25
I went in really hoping to like this but it fell flat for me. I enjoyed the build up in the beginning in order to meet the beast and I enjoyed the ending, but the middle of the book- actual romance between the two main characters- I disliked and that’s the whole point of the book… I didn’t enjoy their chemistry. It felt very forced, and it seemed like the only objective with them meeting was just to write them in a steamy bedroom scene.
