Due to a side effect of a medication taken in an experimental drug trial to cure Vitiligo, a pigment disorder, four people with dramatically different backgrounds are thrown together. Dr. Brian Miller, a physicist, is investigating what might be a buried ship along with the military and NASA. During the investigation, he accidentally triggers a time-travel mechanism designed for ultra-long-distance communications. He discovers he's landed in his 18-year-old body, but the original occupant is still present.

The story of Ronnie, a young boy who is raised in the wild by a pit bull he calls "Killer". Years after Killer takes Ronnie to his lair, Ronnie has grown, and Killer has grown old. Eventually Ronnie must find his way home after many years of living with Killer in the wild.
