I loved all the characters. I have the story four stars because I am disappointed we didn’t get to listen to at least one of Marco and Brian’s weddings. Or get to hear about Sally and Derek meeting everyone in Talamh.

Great story about never ending love

As an only child I have always been envious of people with siblings. Especially siblings that are truly best friends. I was never a huge fan of Van Halen but now that I know the backstory I may just become a convert. Thank you Alex Van Halen for being vulnerable and for sharing the love between you and your brother. How fortunate you both are to have that kind of bond.

Really informative read

I was familiar with some of the people and events in the book, but had no idea how truly victimized these women were. Hopefully their stories will empower other women to tell theirs. This kind of behavior should not exist in 2025.

This is my favorite Nora Robert’s Trilogy

I love this series

I have fallen in love with these characters and I love that they were created for the greater good. However this one seems a bit forced and I didn’t feel like I had time to enjoy their story. I felt as though most of the focus is atrocities of war.

Please don’t misunderstand that totally deserves the attention and is extraordinarily important we all understand what is happening in the world around us. However, we do listen to escape reality so I would love to have more about he the love of this most special extended family.

I love the way Ms. Reynolds integrates the most difficult parts of life with falling in love and staring a life together. I also love that she expands the stories of all the characters she has created. I have looked forward to every book.

I may have overused the word love, but all my sentiments are true.

Fun listen with some unexpected plot twists

This is one of the most profound books I have ever read

First Julia Whelan is one of my favorite narrators. Listening to her tell this remarkable story just made it even better.
Second i was born in the middle of this so. I don’t remember the veterans returning home. I do remember the Vietnam Veteran’s memorial wall but was not old enough even then to understand. This is an amazing book that gives voice to a generation.
Thank you to all the veterans and to your families. We will never truly know what you gave up but know we are grateful.

I learned some things about myself and others

I like the two person protagonists and I especially appreciated both perspectives. We all still have a lot to learn and unlearn and with books like this there is a beginning to those conversations.

I appreciate Lily Chu's sense of humor and her character development. This is a fun read and I look forward to more of Lily's novel. Phillipa Soo is a terrific narrator so I will definitely be on the lookout for more from her.
