Wow! Hard words to ponder…
Revisado: 06-04-23
One of the more philosophical books i have read in some time. This book with make you think and re-think.
It is quite rare that I complete a book only to pick it up and re-read it from cover to cover to extract whatever marrow still remains. This is one of those rare books!
Well done!

Live by these trading rules, and you’ll never have to worry about losing all your money to the stocks...Investing in the stock market as a way to increase your earnings has always been a popular go-to method for many around the world, especially in the United States. The catch, however, is that the longer you wait to begin with trading, the more your opportunities diminish. With that being said, all it takes is for you to learn the ropes of the market, and you’ll be controlling your profits in no time.

Confused by Fundamental Analysis
Revisado: 08-15-22
First of all, Momentum has to do with timing, yet the author spends most of the book talking about FE which is NOT about timing. Momentum / trend following really has nothing to do with FE, hence the author's confusion.
In addition, the author wastes precious moments talking about Efficient Market Theory (multiple times) - yet if this holds true, neither FE or TA will work.
One of only 2 books that I am requesting a refund on from Audible. Absolutely terrible!
Recommended instead: "Trend Following (fifth edition)" and "Trend Commandments" both by Michael Covell.

Historia
> Walking is not as well known as Thoreau's other works Walden, The Maine Woods, and Civil Disobedience. But it is a good place to start exploring his writing because it was his last book, in 1862, published by the Atlantic Monthly shortly after his death. It is less well known because it is general, as opposed to singular, in focus. It is his summing up of his thoughts on life: One should saunter through life and take notice; one need not go far.

Great story, poor narrator
Revisado: 02-05-18
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Like a miniature Walden. Pearls of wisdom.
How could the performance have been better?
Different narrator. It was like listening to a brick-layer reading Shakespeare -- butchering it.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes, but I only listen to it while walking...and I don't walk quite as much as Thoreau.

Historia
Oliver Sacks' The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat tells the stories of individuals afflicted with fantastic perceptual and intellectual aberrations: patients who have lost their memories and with them the greater part of their pasts; who are no longer able to recognize people and common objects; who are stricken with violent tics and grimaces or who shout involuntary obscenities; whose limbs have become alien; who have been dismissed as retarded yet are gifted with uncanny artistic or mathematical talents.

This is the first and so-far only audio book that I have read from cover to cover and then started from the beginning again. I am writing this review at the end of my second read.
The doctor really cares about his patients and works to find the best solutions for their lives.
This book is a mix of medical history, philosophy, and the human condition told by a master storyteller who cares.
Enjoy again and again. It is a deep pond and will always have something for you to ponder anew.

Historia
For decades we've been told that positive thinking is the key to a happy, rich life. "F*ck positivity," Mark Manson says. "Let's be honest, shit is f*cked, and we have to live with it." In his wildly popular Internet blog, Manson doesn't sugarcoat or equivocate. He tells it like it is - a dose of raw, refreshing, honest truth that is sorely lacking today. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck is his antidote to the coddling, let's-all-feel-good mind-set that has infected modern society and spoiled a generation, rewarding them with gold medals just for showing up.

Buddha, Marcus Aurelius, and Captain Kirk...
Revisado: 02-11-17
If you could sum up The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck in three words, what would they be?
...play Cards Against Humanity.
Captain Kirk wins because he cheats and doesn't give a F.
Who was your favorite character and why?
The narrator, because he is very real!
What about Roger Wayne’s performance did you like?
He did not read the text, he performed it.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
See this movie or not, we don't give an F.
Any additional comments?
Great book, perfect for this time in my life. A very cathartic read. Beware if you have trouble with casual and not so casual profanity, this book contains plenty.
