i LOVED this book! some of the characters actions were rediculous and juvinile, but not enough to turn me off. This book was the perfect mixture of adult, contemporary, and paranormal romance. The main characters actions were age appropriate and they found themselves in plausible situations. I can' t wait for book 2!

Not so romantic nor very sci-if

This book was luke warm for me, it is meant for YA(16-25 yrs), has religious overtones, and was not scifi at all. The synopsis had me excited for a fast paced thrilling romance, the storyline moves so slow. There was little excitement, friend zone romance, and the scifi part gets cool at the very end. By then you realize you have forced yourself to finish the book and that's 10 hrs you'll never get back. I'm not going to get the second book and since this was clearly miss categorized, I plan on getting a refund.

As much as I loved the first 2 books, this was one story that didn't need to be written. Newly weds constantly fight over stupid nonissues and then make up with sex, it was 15 hours of face palming. I liked the story, it wrapped up lots of the side story lines.

The synopsis of this book is deceiving. Here's what it's really about: sexual abuse, mental abuse, really poor personal choices, poor communication skill. Pretty much being the biggest doormat EVER! I hated the first 5 chapters, but I continued to listen, waiting for the story line promised. Huge disappointment! And then you are gonna just end the book hoping I'll buy the next one. Keep hoping, I can't believe this rubbish was published. White Trash Beautiful was better than this book and that one was seriously depressing. Don't waste you time or money on this one.

save your hard earned credits, stay away!! this book is nothing like the Sinner's series. I had high hopes that crashed so hard. in the Sinner's series, the guys start out as douchey manwhores, then one by one they fall in love and calm down. Soul Regret start as douchey manwhores and stay that way. only one of them follows the sinners storyline, the rest of the book is dirty sex scenes and them being jerks in general. seriously dissapointing.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

i would say that this book was a time killer. It was not a binge read. I had to force myself to keep going. If you have lots of time, on an airplane or in traffic, then it's ok, still not great.

I was really excited for this book, it was not what i expected. i kept an open mind, but it was just so meh. There wasn't enough information given early in the book to draw me in. You get little bread crumbs all the way up to the second half and they aren't intriguing crumbs. narrators switch every other chapter, it doesn't give the reader time to make a connection to either character. i had to force myself to finish the book and i still don't know what happened. I wouldn't say this book was good or bad, just middle of the road.

I really enjoyed this book. It was so detailed that i thought the ending was going to reveal the author as the main character. As the story unravels, you see the plot twists coming. thankfully, the main character isn't oblivious and makes all the assumptions I did as i was reading. I will say that the ending is abrupt and leaves me wanting more, but content with the stopping point.

This story had so much potential. I was really drawn to the story line, but after the first few chapters, I knew this book was not for me. For one, I can't get in the mind set of the alcohol/drug abuse family. I also, can not understand these guilt ridden children, who have taken responsibility for their abusive parents. This was quite possibly the biggest train wreck of a book that I have ever listened to. The end is not all prince on a white horse, but it made up for the first 7 hours.
