Hardly a full moment. Was on the edge of my seat the entire time. And a special shout-out to Andrea as always for being one of the best narrators out there. 12/10 stop reading this review and start listening.

Historia
The Galahad, a faster-than-light spacecraft, carries 50 scientists and engineers on a mission to prepare Kepler 452b, Earth's nearest habitable neighbor at 1400 light years away. With Earth no longer habitable and the Mars colony slowly failing, they are humanity's best hope. After 10 years in a failed cryogenic bed - body asleep, mind awake - William Chanokh's torture comes to an end as the fog clears, the hatch opens, and his friend and fellow hacker, Tom, greets him...by stabbing a screwdriver into his heart. This is the first time William dies.

Absolutely loved it
Revisado: 04-02-23
Even guessing at the twist pretty early on, was an incredibly good listen. Did leve me thinking that it was a very long explanation for very little actual progression but I believe that’s more a consequence of the way the timeline is meant to be written. I wonder if perhaps the story could benefit from a more linear and independent series but having not made my way through the whole timeline yet I can’t say conclusively.

Book was great, these two narrators are absolutely fantastic. I’d say this is the best work by Anya’s I’ve listened to. A job well done if you’re somehow reading this!

Historia
The exciting sequel to Good Intentions! Alex Carlisle has enough to deal with even on quiet days. Living with an angel and a succubus is no easy feat. One has divine responsibilities she can't explain, and the other tempts him toward a decadent lifestyle he's not sure he can manage. Add to that the stresses of college and trying to hold down a job, and it's lucky Alex can even keep his head on straight.

First book great… this one…
Revisado: 12-16-22
First one sets up a decent relationship with the 3 MCs, this one… I dunno… NTR. Very much not my thing and also comes out of nowhere. It would’ve been really easy to not have it and it would have made this book endlessly better. The last 45 mins of this book ruined the prior ~ 18 hours of this book and the entire book before that. I cannot overstate my disappointment.

So very nearly excellent
Revisado: 11-16-22
Narrator is great but i don’t really see any overall progression for the characters it’s just 2 steps forwards 2 steps back over and over again. The relationships between the characters suffer from the same problem. Every time seemingly meaningful strides are made they’re immediately torn away. Leads to the MC keeping everyone at arms length which seriously detracts from the relevance of each relationship. If there was actual development of the relationships I think the series would be incredible but it’s 6 books in and the initial relationships are exactly where they were at the start of the series. To summarize: still worth the listen, but only if you’ve already gotten this far. don’t expect much character development.

Historia
He's tried to ignore them for too long. But the long-simmering conflict between Montana's holding at Coggeshall and the Night Goblins who also occupy the valley is about to boil over. Usually, goblins aren't anything to write home about: an enemy without much size, intellect, or weaponry. But these goblins? Well, that's just not the case. These are goblins with limitless resources, never-before-seen tactics, and horrifying monsters at their disposal. Worst of all, they don't fear death in the slightest. They just might force a good guy to become what he has always struggled to defeat.

Compared to most of the audiobooks I’ve listened to on audible (over 400 as of this review), this one may be on the shorter end of the spectrum but was absolutely wonderful to listen to from start to finish. At no point does you loose interest in it. I’ve finished it in a single day and loved every moment of it... the only thing I can think of wishing for is more! Quite possibly one of the best fights I’ve ever listened to in a book.
