Enjoyed the expansion on Prescott's back story. I love all of the previous books in this series, and this one is just as good. Great storyline and characters. Hoping there will be more to come.

The story was fantastic. Old Victorian ghost story, spiritualism, and a love story. The narration was really good as well. Recommended for a spooky late night listen.

Fantastic Listen

I wasn't sure if I would like this book, but a few chapters in, I was hooked. It started off sounding like a story written for Halloween, but quickly morphed into a wonderful procedural/ modern whodunit. The narration was also very well done. I hope this is a start to a new series. Would love for this story to continue. Well worth a credit!

The Martian Meets ET

I absolutely loved this story. It was just as fantastic as the martian. I laughed, I cried, I stressed about the characters when they were in trouble, and cheered them on every time they succeeded. I really hope to see this one made into a movie as well. Highly recommend this beautiful tale of perseverance, and discovering the bond of friendship in the most unlikely of settings. Narration was perfect by Ray Porter, as usual. He is truly one of my all time favorites.

Different kind of tale...

I was absolutely hooked from chapter 1 in this book. It was a very different take on folklore and legends, but not in the overdone style. I wouldn't recommend it for younger children, because it does have some pretty gory imagery and some language, but its fine for YA. The narration was spot on. Highly recommend if you like anything supernatural, or to do with folklore.

I'm really hoping there will be more to follow. I've binge listened to all of them, and can't wait to hear/ read what happens in Rockton next. Each mystery held my complete attention, and had me trying to solve them right along with the detective. The narration was perfect! Highly recommend giving these a chance to any fan of mystery and thriller.

This book had a very sweet message, and made me laugh so hard. It was nice to hear a woman embrace the body she has, and not want to change herself just to make society happy. She knew exactly who she was, how she got there, and wasn't afraid to live her best life. Can't wait for the next one in this series!

Great, after a couple hours...

At first I didn't think I was going to be able to finish this book. It took me a little while to get used to the narrator, and the story took quite a while to pick up. At times I got frustrated with some of the choices the main character made, because she was a major doormat to everyone in her life, but she grew on me. I'm glad I stuck with it, because with about 3 hrs to go, I couldn't stop listening. Everything just fell into place, and it turned out to be a pretty great listen. Worth a credit after all.
