Historia
Up until now, Montana's gotten by pretending he's a regular guy. Well, a regular, overpowered, god-defeating guy who maybe just learned his hair is in all the wrong places. But the big city is calling, and in order to succeed there, Montana must actually prove himself a deserving duke. If Glaton finds him lacking, Coggeshall could be forced into even further isolation. But if Glaton falls in love with him, the regular guy from Motor City could end up with limitless power, in charge of it all. And just like that, the fate of the entire Empire is in Montana's hands.

I’ve grown to hate Montana
Revisado: 12-01-22
- The main character’s lack of action and downright stupidity is just hard to deal with.
- 9 hour book but the only thing important to the story was in the last 30 minutes
- The last 3 or so books, this one included, is almost all filler. I was entranced with the first 5 of the series but once he settled into Coggeshall it got worse
- So many undeveloped characters made it hard to even remember them
- Eric Ugland is such a good author and one of my favorites but I feel his most recent books have fallen short, even with the bad guys series
- And as always, Neil knocked it out of the park with the narration.

Historia
Only one person can wield the sword called Orc’s Bane, a sword so mighty that the one who possesses it is destined to rule Innis Torr for 1,000 years. Yet the sword will only serve one master, a person it chooses, and Orc’s Bane has chosen Karl. Armed with the sword of prophecy, Karl must now convince the rest of the warring kingdoms and cities that he is the chosen one. But it is no easy task as he struggles to overcome jealous kings and princes, sorcery, and magical beasts.

Two Narrators

Good story, performance a bit monotone. It would benefit greatly from having a female narrator for the female characters since they play a big role in the story.
Sexual scenes are kinda cringe.
