Issue with Book-3

In Book-3 chapter nine, the story focuses on a rat dog named Nipper and its female owner named Amanda and a guy named Chandler. At this point in the series their ability to recognize threats and traps should be at a high level, but it devolves to an insufferable diatribe about ‘Nipper’ and ‘Amanda’ who apparently have lost every single sense of awareness. ‘Chandler’ the burly male who knows better rolls over and submits to the delusional emotions of ‘Amanda’. I almost quit at this point, but fast forwarded so as not to suffer the disgusting cringe.

If you like to hear the word 'Chuffed', then you will be satisfied listening to this book. It appears as one of the authors favorites. His other books use that term ad-nauseam whenever a canine is involved as well. Odd.

I love all of Matt’s books and have listened to them or read them multiple times over the years. I think I like this book best of all, but it does help to know what happened in the previous two books for perspective.

Just a trailer for all the other books…

I’ve listened at all of the other books in the series and there is really nothing new here….it is nothing more than a trailer for all the other books disguised as something else. Sorry, but I’m returning to get my credit back.

Great story, but....

Great story, but the narcissistic characters Bridget and Lilith are insufferable with their continual display of ignorance to what is happening right before their eyes, and their juvenile questioning to every, single, thing made me want to reach through cyberspace and choke them out.

Unscriptural

A couple things I found irritating are:
1) Kevin Pierce's 'hispanic' accent used for the main character was unnecessary and distracting
2) The author follows John Darby's narrative of a secret rapture similar to the narrative found in the Left Behind Series....I'm sure this will trigger some who may read this...probably because they have not taken the time to study the issue and prefer to simply parrot what they have been told by those who parrot what they have been told.

One of the issues that came to mind while listening to what JMac assembled and clearly believes is that others such as Servus Christi claim JMac participates in the word of faith movement by proxy when he speaks to others who have spoken to, or engaged with those with WOF. It is sad that men are placed upon a pedestal by other believers, and then when that one on a pedestal mis-speaks for one reason or another, charges of heresy are immediately proclaimed. One example is JMac flippantly saying in his opinion a person receiving the Mark of The Beast could be redeemed....not sure why he said that in that moment, but my guess is he made a mistake and knows he made a mistake, and this is where ANY believer goes wrong and it is when they give an ‘opinion’ on the Word of God rather than the plain truth of what is written. May The Lord show His mercy to all of us sinful beings.

I’m a fan of Abrahams & Pierce, but.....

I’m a fan of Abrahams & Pierce, but I found myself wanting to choke out the main character’s wife and kids with their non-stop stupid questions. Anyone in their situation would not be continually badgering the one person who is responsible for their well being. At any rate, chapter 17 is as far as I could stand to listen. Deleted...
