I don't understand why people are so upset with this book. It was marketed as a novella. That what she gave us, a bit of filler until the next book in the series came out.
I do however struggle with the performance. I don't know why they ever changed.

I've seen people say they don't like this book because a woman gave up her dreams for a man. She didn't, her dreams changed. I loved the journey that this book took mw on and cannot wait for the next installment.
