This is the first book I've done on audible that uses sound effects to great effect.
The story is gritty, scary, funny, and at a good pace. I recommend the series and the author.

First book of his I didn't like.. The accent was so strong that it was nearly inaudible at times. The reading was to fast and slowing it down was not helpful. It made me annoyed to try and understand the reader at the same time as the plot.

The Stone Barrington series should end

Not nearly as good as previous booka

The story is so unbelievable as to be poor. Woods seems to think he can create change a poor persons habits and tastes within days to a couple weeks to an entirely different cultural and social norm. It was bad when he took a bungling Herbie to a high power socialite in the same manner, and this is worse. Much of the book has no plot except how to spend a lot of money quickly like Stone does. The ending is abrupt and poorly chosen. Skip this one. You'll be happy you did.
