Historia
After decades of warfare, Malazan forces are poised to consolidate the Quon Tali mainland. Yet it is at this moment that Emperor Kellanved orders a new, some believe foolhardy campaign: the invasion of Falar that lies far to the north . . . And to fight on this new front, a rag-tag army raised from orphaned units and broken squads is been brought together under Fist Dujek, and joined by a similarly motley fleet under the command of the Emperor himself.

A wondrous addition to the Malazan universe!
Revisado: 04-19-24
Esslemont’s pen drips fell sorcery and plot/character development with equal ardor!
A must read for those love epic fantasy and great writing.

Historia
In Darujhistan, the city of blue blue fire, it is said that Love and Death shall arrive dancing. It is summer, and the heat is oppressive, but for the small, rotund man in the faded red waistcoat discomfiture is not just because of the sun. All is not well. Dire portents plague his nights and haunt the city streets like fiends of shadow. Assassins skulk in alleyways, but the quarry has turned, and the hunters become the hunted. Hidden hands pluck the strings of tyranny like a fell chorus.

One of the best Epic Fantasy Novels of all time!
Revisado: 12-12-15
Amongst those with power, nuance is the sign of mastery. This novel peels back the quivering epidermis of deity to reveal that the spirit of hope is humanity itself. This book is the best of the Malazan series and it stands amongst a paltry few as a spire in the crown of Epic Fantasy.
