Historia
Karen Bechard, UN Agent, thought the flight from the US to Europe was going to be routine. It was in mid flight where everything turned ugly. A man hyped on some highly addictive drug goes zombie flesh eating berserk. People die, people get hurt, and then no one to fly the plane. What is an agent to do? And, that was the easy part of the day, of which was turning out to be a Four Horsemen trampling humanity scenario and Karen had to be on her A-game.

Not my usual listen but glad I took the risk. The story was fast paced and funny. It went down paths I never thought about. Worth listening multiple times.

Better than I thought
Revisado: 02-28-14
What made the experience of listening to Concealed in Death the most enjoyable?
I know the series. I am a big fan of Nora Roberts, writing as J.D. Robb.
If you’ve listened to books by J. D. Robb before, how does this one compare?
Like my title it is better than I thought. Some books of the books in the title have been strained but this one worked out. The plot twist were interesting. It didn't flow they way I thought and I am actually glad about it. Some of books were predictable. This was really good for book 38.
What about Susan Ericksen’s performance did you like?
Ms. Ericksen performance has always been great.
Any additional comments?
Some people believe it is time to end the series. I admit I have had those thoughts as well. This book was good enough to change my mind. I like Eve and Roarke and it might be time for them to move on. But I would like for J.D. Robb to consider doing a spin off. There are other detectives in the NYPSD. The near or distant future is very entertaining and fun.

Let's sound Human
Revisado: 10-26-13
Would you try another book from Bob Mayer and/or Martin Gollery?
I would listen to another book by Bob Mayer. The information about writing is very good and needed. I do not think I would listen to Martin Gollery. His voice was automated. I kept wonder if I was listening to a computer. If Martin is a real person I am sorry. But I heard Bob Mayer lecture on writing. It would have been better if he had done it himself.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Novel Writer's Toolkit: From Idea to Best-Seller?
The best part of this book is hearing that writing is hard work and takes time. Writers aspiring to be published don't always get the encouragement or hard facts they need to succeed. I wish I got this book 10 years ago.
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Martin Gollery?
I would like to give Martin Gollery a second chance. I just not sure I want to pay for it or use my free credit.
Do you think The Novel Writer's Toolkit: From Idea to Best-Seller needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
I wish it had an eBook
Any additional comments?
It need to be re-recorded. Writing is hard but worth it. Listening to this book is harder only because the voice makes everything inhuman.

Historia
Robyn Peltier moved to Los Angeles after her young husband's sudden death. Though she's still grieving, the challenges of her new life as the PR consultant to Portia Kane - the world's most famous celebutante wannabe - can sometimes be amusing, even distracting. But when her client is gunned down in a nightclub, Robyn is suddenly on the run as the prime suspect in the murder. And as more bodies pile up around her, it seems like only Hope Adams, Robyn's best friend, and Hope's somewhat spooky boyfriend Karl are on Robyn's side. But it's not the police Hope is worried about, and the only way Hope can keep her friend alive is by letting her enter a world she's safer knowing nothing about.

Overall it was great
Revisado: 01-18-12
Would you consider the audio edition of Living with the Dead to be better than the print version?
I think both are very good.
What did you like best about this story?
This story was in third person. Usually women of the otherworld are first person experience
What three words best describe Jen Taylor’s voice?
The narrator's voice is very versatile.
Any additional comments?
With the exception of messing up one of the character's names, the narrator was very good. I don't blame her. I blame the director. This was book nine, No Humans Involved had already been printed.

It was good for me
Revisado: 08-05-11
I thought I would hate this audiobook, John Glover has a different voice than James Marsters; Fortunately Jim Butcher writes good book. Before I knew it was I was lost in the story and I loved it even the end. I think the inconsolable will remain that way, James Marsters was very good but it even took him some time to get the Harry Dresden voice we love. Listen to the first recordings of the series, really listen. If James comes back now that Harry is alive again great and if John is the voice of Harry evermore that is great too. It is all about the story.
