It may be that it didn’t hit my specific issue, but I did take away one good point that made the purchase worthwhile.

Good if you’re selling more than your book
Revisado: 02-24-24
There’s a lot of good insight to gain from this book however, it focused heavily on promoting other aspects of you, your business, and not just your book. In fact, it seemed to highlight that it’s hard to market your book but it’s easy to market yourself or your business. It felt a little bit discouraging for me as an author who only has a book to sell. I don’t have a business or a website or any other side gig that my book is promoting. I just wanted to promote just my Book.

More people should know this woman and her story!
Revisado: 02-24-24
This was an incredible book. I wish I had known about what this woman had done for our laws, and for other women -in my younger years. Her resilience is incredible. Her wisdom is inspiring and the way the author put all the pieces together with other journals and records is fantastic I loved listening to the audiobook. Well done .

Historia
At the heart of the gospel is a radical message of hope: we are capable of unlimited development, of becoming even as Christ is. But what does this path of transformation look like and feel like in practice? For centuries, so much of Christianity has focused on what to believe. Thomas McConkie redirects this conversation to the simple but potent practices we can engage in body, heart, mind and spirit—awakening us to a greater measure of the Sacred right here and now.

Buddhist approach to modern therapy ideas
Revisado: 01-08-24
I enjoyed how Thomas reframed much of what I’ve learned in modern therapy into different approaches and meditative ideas that are helpful in self improvement. I was distracted and even triggered by him quoting modern LDS apostles who hold a negative place, due to their interactions and speeches to the public at large (ie: Elder Oaks).
