I’m privileged to live in a country where having non-conventional gender and sexual identity is considered normal. But it has a side effect of sometimes not paying attention to these topics, because “everyone knows everything” anyway. This book helped me tremendously to cover knowledge gaps and understand better how to approach and support transgender people, what are the sixty shades of gender and sexuality and how to be more inclusive in my daily life. I especially appreciated chapter 4 about misconceptions that follow the transgender topic.

The book is packed with practical advice for both people going through gender transition and for people aside who doesn’t want to make it weird, for example, speaking with transgenders. Openly talking about his own transition journey, the author offers empathy and support for everyone who starts it or faces challenges on the way. It’s a truly inspiring, bright and vital reading.

The second book "Become a Fearless Female Leader: 11 Powerful Steps to build Confidence, Communicate Effectively and Stand Out as a Powerful Female Leader" takes it even further, introducing the reader to the female leadership topic and giving tips for building a confident professional identity with empathy and respect to yourself and to others. The books are greatly narrated and easy and enjoyable to listen to. I highly recommend this audio bundle to everyone like me who's tired of walking self-sabotage circles and being stuck in a workspace hamster wheel.

The Fitness Routine That Got Me out of Addiction, into Recovery, and How to Create Your Own by Brett Grau is an intimate story of a brave man who overcame alcohol and weed addiction through sports. I think personal stories are very important when it comes to addiction because they show how exactly it was 'before' and the whole way to becoming 'after'. The second part of the book is about the different possibilities of starting a healthy lifestyle, tips and tricks to avoid addiction triggers and finding your way to be passionate about health and sports.

Here is my favourite quote: "Alcohol is so ingrained into our society that people are baffled and must ask you, “Why you’re not drinking?” Those in early sobriety absolutely hate the question and it can be a deterrent to sobriety. It’s like being forced into a full therapy session without a therapist and in front of a crowd of people. Well, here’s an easy answer, “I’m on a health and fitness kick.”

Overall the audiobook is easy, enjoyable listening that triggers your mind and inspires you to make a change and be aware. The ideas of simple fitness routines are affordable for anyone and simple to start and to follow.

Well-written and easy to understand. We've all got to begin at the beginning. It can be terrible when we need to let go of our kids if we haven't gradually trained them to make their own decisions leading up to the day they leave for college. This book offers comfort for teens and young adults to get decision-making and problem-solving right.
