A captivating book with unexpected twists

I saw there was a movie and already had this book in my to-do list. Good start, each character relatable, deepening twists & turns entice your thoughts about who did what.... and when. The ending comes together nicely. Great read!

I like the series but I especially like that the author narrates the book. Who better to read to you, make you feel the experience, the expressions, than the author! Genius!
I love the characters, I love just the right amount of details, and I like the story lines.

The only reason I give it a 4 star is because I couldn't imagine the creatures very well. Their description was too contradicting of what I would've saw as threatening. Great read though! I'll probably listen to this series again.

I probably would have stop listening to the book a long time ago if it wasn't a series and I didn't already purchase it. the reader was like listening to a monotone Keanu Reeves. he had no range of emotion for the characters other than being the difference between male and female. The storyline was decent and explicit. but I didn't mind that part.

of course every book that has been written in the series is amazing. unfortunately I was disappointed that it was only 5 chapters long and only touched base on Fitz's European Greenland experience. I'm looking forward to hearing what happened to all the rest of the team. What happened to Beckham and Kate and Ringgold and Davis?!?
