I wanted to love it

I enjoyed the story but I wasn’t hooked. The narrator was SO great but I didn’t get as much romance or spooky as I’d like to have gotten.

I’d read mixed reviews so I honestly wasn’t sure if I wanted to get into the series or not but I am so happy that I did!! Finale was everything that I wanted it to be and had me wanting to forget all of my responsibilities until I finished!!

This book was such a great conclusion to one of the best series I've ever read! Feyre and Rhys' story is absolutely beautiful! I could have used more answers in the end to how many of the secondary characters fared after time passed but maybe that'll come in future books. Also, I guess I have the unpopular opinion regarding narrators because I actually preferred Amanda Leigh Cobb. I always felt that Jennifer took something away from the character and story, but when I listened to Amanda narrate as Feyre I genuinely felt every emotion and loved what she brought to the characters.

I read ACOTAR a year or so ago and couldn't wait for ACOMAF. After reading the first few reviews when it came out I have to admit I was really hesitant to start because i couldn't imagine letting go of the feelings from the first book after hearing about the drastic change in relationships. I couldn't have been more wrong. Sarah J. Maas did a perfect job at deconstructing and constructing relationships, everything from ACOTAR just seem to be necessary to get to this, the much bigger picture. Beyond the romance, the friendships are so genuine and the new characters add so much to the story. I didn't love the narrator at first because I felt she was too whispy but that makes total sense now and I love the strength that she portrays in Feyre. I highly recommend this to anyone and can't wait to see what happens next.
