I purchase this book based on the fact that it said book 1 I enjoyed it but when I went to get book 2 I find I'm stuck with half the story. I feel I was misled based on a maybe future that I probably will never get around to seeing

each book to stand alone constantly repeats facts shortening the amount of time for new story.
For the dollars the books are too short I would prefer which the author had put all the books together into one novel to avoid all this distraction. chasing dollars instead of quality

So far I've read 16 Christopher G. Nuttall novels each one is my favorite!! I fell in love in high school with science fiction. The ability of the genre to let and author give you an analogy of his view of the future. I buy them for myself for quick easy Entertainment while reminding myself the future will have all the same human problems faced by both current events and history. I buy them for my grandchildren in the hopes that this author can interest them to think beyond the level of a good shooting up. I vote for keep it simple and have fun

I would give this audio book (10 stars )if I could

This is the type of science fiction that first led me to love reading. I've already roped 2 grandsons by picking their interest followed by books for Christmas. I hope they will fall in love with reading like I did.
I chose this simply told fast moving book to plant the daydreams of artificial intelligence, spaceships, lasers, In a futuristic, military space war complete with a well thought out first communication with a powerful nonhuman intelligence. Complete with the powerful emotions faced by soldiers on a battlefield and there personal emotional struggles with the death of comrades, love, temptation, racial stereotypes, bigotry. leaving the reader questioning their beliefs in the kind of person they want to become. A grandfather can only try and I will forever be grateful to the high school librarian who expanded my world with the love of reading

Military Syfy, the prime directive , I enjoyed

Syfy has a tradition of starships in a military role and this series of battling with newly discovered aliens is a fine example of that tradition I enjoyed it very much.

I love the way the author tied together all the different things I knew with simple explanations. This book filled in many of the holes I had questions about. I can't say any more than that it was All Stars.

The narration was with the emotion, of someone who love the subject. The author filled in many of the questions I was unable to find in other books without resorting to the actual equations I recommended to someone interested in the future of the theory of everything.
