The characters were so unlovable that I didn't care about them. The concept of two different sides to the story was a good one. Just didn't care about the characters

Too much of the book was complaining about cost of meals, tours etc. Enjoyed the book Bryson narrated better.

David Drummond must not be a native Chicagoan. He mispronounce many street names and names of locals.
The story has an extremely negative slant on our fair city. Chicago does have its share of problems, but we're not all bad
