Beck is everything Joe has ever wanted: she's gorgeous, tough, razor-smart, and sexy beyond his wildest dreams. Joe needs to have her, and he'll stop at nothing to do so. As he begins to insinuate himself into her life - her friendships, her email, her phone - she can’t resist her feelings for a guy who seems custom-made for her. So when her boyfriend, Benji, mysteriously disappears, Beck and Joe fall into a tumultuous affair. But there's more to Beck than her oh-so-perfect façade.

Good Psych Thriller
Revisado: 03-21-16
Reads a bit like the TV show Dexter, where you almost feel a bit sincere for to his character and hunger as you follow the twisted evolution of this relationship. Narration was on point and easy to follow. Overall, great read!

Inspirational story of starting over
Revisado: 07-27-15
A good story of a woman's rise from the ashes! The story did start out slow and Meredith was hard to feel pity for as such an elitist in her former life with Freddy. By the end you find yourself rooting for her, a little late though. I would have liked to see a bit less victim and more courage. The narration was good but I did keep picking up a Canadian or Minnesota accent that didn't fit in? Still a feel good story.

Historia
From the New York Times best-selling author of Me Before You and One Plus One, a surprising and moving romance set in an old-fashioned seaside town on the verge of unwelcome change. Liza McCullen will never fully escape her past. But the unspoiled beaches and tight-knit community of Silver Bay offer the freedom and safety she craves - if not for herself, then for her young daughter, Hannah. That is, until Mike Dormer arrives as a guest in her aunt's hotel.

Great Story, I had to listen twice!
Revisado: 07-13-15
This is a story full of love and life and the trials and tribulations gone through before happiness can find a way in! Encompassing wildlife and mankind and righting wrongs. The narration is fantastic from female old and child to men, really had a comforting flow! Great read, I will certainly listen again and again!

Historia
When Vivien Walker left her home in the Mississippi Delta, she swore never to go back, as generations of the women in her family had. But in the spring, nine years to the day since she'd left, that's exactly what happens - Vivien returns, fleeing from a broken marriage and her lost dreams for children. What she hopes to find is solace with "Bootsie", her dear grandmother who raised her, a Walker woman with a knack for making everything all right. But instead she finds that her grandmother has died and that her estranged mother is drifting further away from her memories.

Generational Story of Mothers
Revisado: 07-03-15
A sweet story of the love and endurance of motherhood across generations. A twist of mystery adds to the lush backdrop of the Mississippi Delta. Good narration with true accents and multiple character narration! Makes for a smooth summer read.

Historia
In the rural parishes of Louisiana's French Triangle, young women are disappearing one by one, only to turn up on the banks of the bayou, strangled and cast aside where they are sure to be found. But there is one trophy the killer prizes above all others, one woman who must be silenced forever.... Attorney Laurel Chandler did not come back to Bayou Breaux to seek justice. That once-burning obsession had destroyed her credibility, her career, her marriage - and nearly her sanity. But when a ruthless predator strikes too close to home, she's lured into a perverse game from which there may be no escape.

Long and Drawn out for a Predictable End
Revisado: 06-21-15
Cry Wolf was too long to be enjoyable. The ending was so drawn out and hashing out the sisters past was redundant. Jack as a love interest was hard to buy--bitter, selfish and brash don't make for a strong love interest. The narrator was decent and well at the accents, which helped get me through the book. Unfortunately the story fell short.

Interesting scene but felt a disconnect in the story
Revisado: 06-11-15
I enjoyed the scene of Virtue falls and the detailed workings of the earthquakes and Tsunami. Unfortunately, I felt a huge disconnect with the characters and the way the integrated with each other. From the waitress off in Seattle to Cateri (sp?) I felt the actual murderer was introduced and then set aside, never really exploring their character in detail. The narration was okay but the Irish accent came through occasionally on Elizabeth's dialogue and was out of place outside Margret.

Intriguing
Revisado: 05-27-15
Intriguing but predictable story. Easy to follow with interesting characters. Unfortunately there is little mystery as the books description is the spoiler. Narration is a little drawn but good with variation.

Historia
Douglas Petersen may be mild-mannered, but behind his reserve lies a sense of humor that seduces beautiful Connie into a second date...and eventually into marriage. Now, almost three decades later, they live more or less happily in the London suburbs with their moody seventeen year-old son, Albie. Then Connie tells him she thinks she wants a divorce. The timing couldn’t be worse. Connie has planned a month-long tour of European capitals, a chance to experience the world’s greatest works of art as a family, and she can’t bring herself to cancel. And maybe going ahead is for the best anyway? Douglas is privately convinced that this landmark trip will rekindle the romance in the marriage, and might even help him to bond with Albie. Narrated from Douglas’s endearingly honest, slyly witty, and at times achingly optimistic point of view, Us is the story of a man trying to rescue his relationship with the woman he loves, and learning how to get closer to a son who’s always felt like a stranger.

A listless love story
Revisado: 05-20-15
A love story or rather a story about finding oneself through love. Characters were believable (possibly too everyday). Scenery was the best part! Narration decent and suited to the main character, was a bit dry.

As twins born to a mother in a coma - courtesy of a bullet from their father - the sensational story of their birth never quite died down. While Jack still craves the flash of a camera, Janie seeks sanctuary behind the lens - as a crime scene photographer.

Any additional comments?
A intriguing mystery and well woven story. My only complaint is the beginning drags a bit, the story could have been about 20-30 percent shorter. Narration is good.
