What I like most about this book is the tongue-in-cheek way the characters interact. You immediately realize this book is going to be funny, but you have no idea how funny until you meet Otto the black motel owner and Melvin the small town's white hiphop gangsta thug. At one point I found myself laughing so hard I had to stop the audio book. I highly recommend this book!

Interesting story, simple yet intriguing premise

What did you love best about Black Rain?
The characters were engaging and well thought out. I also liked how everything came together.
What other book might you compare Black Rain to and why?
Black Rain kinda reminded me of Diana Roland's White Trash Zomibie. The main character has that same Southern drawl. She was prone to sharp funny comebacks at times,
What does Ann M. Richardson bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Ann brought the characters to life in a way that was funny, and at the same time, compelling.

I saw a "one star" Amazon.com kindle review for this story and was completely baffled. Not everyone will enjoy this story the way I did. But, it just seemed this story was unfairly rated based solely on the reviewers interpretation of "cheesy" and dislike of the title. I highly recommend this title!

I did not hold out much hope that this would be a good book but a friend recommend this to me. I'm glad I spent the money on this book. It was different but in a totally good way. Kudos to the author!!!!!
