Historia
Welcome to 1876 America, a place bursting with gunslingers, outlaws, and garou - better known as werewolves. And where there are garou, there’re hunters: the one and only Calamity Jane, to be precise, along with her fellow stars of Wild Bill’s Traveling Show, Annie Oakley and Frank “the Pistol Prince” Butler. After a garou hunt goes south and Jane finds a suspicious-like bite on her arm, she turns tail for Deadwood, where there’s talk of a garou cure. But rumors can be deceiving - meaning the gang better hightail it after her before they’re a day late and a Jane short.

A remarkable Patriot
Revisado: 08-11-24
I was definitely drawn in by Deborah’s story. Of course, I looked her up to see if she was real. I also looked for John Patterson even before the love story part came to be so I knew what actually happened to each of them, but it didn’t make this account any less compelling. I am glad Ms. Harmon chose to write Deborah’s story and enlighten us all to a very strong, inspiring woman.

It seemed so real for a Mom to be telling her adult daughters about her love when she was young. She even named her daughter after the role she played. It was simple yet heartwarming.

In a sprawling mansion filled with peculiar treasures, January Scaller is a curiosity herself. As the ward of the wealthy Mr. Locke, she feels little different from the artifacts that decorate the halls: carefully maintained, largely ignored, and utterly out of place. Then she finds a strange book. A book that carries the scent of other worlds and tells a tale of secret doors, of love, adventure, and danger. Each page turn reveals impossible truths about the world, and January discovers a story increasingly entwined with her own.
