Historia
Former allies in the IRA, Sean Dillon and Martin Brosnan have chosen different paths. Now Dillon is a terrorist for hire, a master of disguise employed by Saddam Hussein. Brosnan is the one man who knows Dillon’s strengths and weaknesses…and brilliant mastery of espionage. Once friends, now enemies, they are playing the deadliest game of their careers. A game that culminates in a frightening - and true - event: Iraq’s attempted mortar attack on the British war cabinet at 10 Downing Street in February 1991.

Love Jack Higgins!
Revisado: 10-10-24
I’ve always loved Jack Higgins and read over half his books but never listened to them until just recently! The reader does a great job with the voices and really brings it to life!!

Historia
Quentin and his friends are now the kings and queens of Fillory, but the days and nights of royal luxury are starting to pall. After a morning hunt takes a sinister turn, Quentin and his old friend Julia charter a magical sailing ship and set out on an errand to the wild outer reaches of their kingdom. Their pleasure cruise becomes an adventure when the two are unceremoniously dumped back into the last place Quentin ever wants to see: his parent's house in Chesterton, Massachusetts.

A flawed but very fun gem! Refreshing!!
Revisado: 08-02-21
Damn good for the most part. Worth the read if you want something non traditional and subversive. I understand why the story ended the way it does, makes sense thematically, yet it still falls victim to the cliche and archetype while trying to subvert them. And screw Ember. Give us a better reason beyond "just cause" you freaking goat. Julia's story was really fun to explore the other side through non conventional magician education. Binged it like I did the first book!
7 out of 10:)
