Are you living in someone elses story?
Revisado: 11-16-21
This book came at the most amazing time in my life. I was able to undersrand myself by listening to this. He understands what I have gone through and what I am going through. I was blind to it all and have been dealing with this through denial and focusing on outcomes.
Even if you dont think you suffer from loneliness, reading or listening to this will help you understand others and be more effective with coworkers, family etc.

Historia
In The Science of Likability, you'll get all that and more. I've taken 27 seminal scientific and psychological studies and broken them down, so you can use their findings to your advantage. Every piece of advice in this book to increase your social standing and likability factor is 100% backed by in-depth, peer-reviewed research. You can get a new haircut and wardrobe, and you even learn funny jokes. But likability is something more. It's subconscious, and it's the small signs that signal our brains to let their guards down and embrace others.

Historia
For David Goggins, childhood was a nightmare--poverty, prejudice, and physical abuse colored his days and haunted his nights. But through self-discipline, mental toughness, and hard work, Goggins transformed himself from a depressed, overweight young man with no future into a US Armed Forces icon and one of the world's top endurance athletes. The only man in history to complete elite training as a Navy SEAL, Army Ranger, and Air Force tactical air controller, he went on to set records in numerous endurance events.

if you want to learn how to be divorced 3 times...
Revisado: 03-07-19
Obviously this review will not hurt the author. This story is about how he alone can do many things that most people don't think they can do. He shares how others can do, but they do not push their limits; they don't know their limits. Powerful. However, ultimately, he tells about how people were holding him back. whether it was the seals he was working with or his father, or his school. He overcame so much, but never learned how to connect with people and build teams. His philosophy may hurt people's attempts to work in teams and networks. Lone Rangers are a dying breed.

Historia
Amazon’s business model is deceptively simple: make online shopping so easy and convenient that customers won’t think twice. It can almost be summed up by the button on every page: Buy now with one click. Why has Amazon been so successful? Much of it has to do with Jeff Bezos, the CEO and founder, whose business strategy and unique combination of character traits have driven Amazon to the top of the online retail world. Originally a computer nerd rather than a businessman, he had the vision to capitalize on the untapped online marketplace for bookselling....
